Mornings With Moula

It was a quiet day here with the sun chasing the clouds around and Mum and Dad were running around getting chores done. It was a lazy day too. Dusty wondered what was going on. It would have been Souris' half birthday today and we were all feeling a bit sad that she was not here to celebrate. Mum and Dad had to go out for a while and gave us treats before they left. When they returned, they said that Lillibet greeted them from her new home. It was an unexpected visit for everyone! Lillibet was so happy to see Mum and Dad and she asked all about us and was just too excited to calm down. She has her very own window to watch out  and she was sad to see Mum and Dad go home but she is very happy with her new family. Ciao for now my friends...  

It started as a quiet and cool sort of morning. We asked politely for chewing bones and napped while we waited. We had our chewing bones  in the early morning sunshine. Then played inside a bit  before Mum and Dad went out together. When Mum and Dad came home, we all were surprised with a pol day!!!! It was a glorious afternoon in the pool! We love when days start and end this way! Especially when we finish our swim and then it's time for dinner!   Ciao for now my friends...

The storms were not so fun last night. The winds knocked a lot of branches into the garden and Dusty was happy to chew them. But we had to stay inside the house while the winds howled around us. Mum tried to pick up sticks and Dusty offered to help- sort of. She showed Mum where the branches fell. And then we all had chewing bones. It was a quiet, lazy kind of day after all. We had exactly two days of normal weather here before today which is way too hot! It's too hot to stay outside for long without being in the pool. But when we are outside, we ask for our chewing bones.  And then we wait at the door to ask to come inside because it is just so hot. No one wants to run around or make a fuss. It's better to be inside when it is just so hot. Mia summs it up quite nicely. Ciao for now my friends...
