THE MORNING QUIET.

Image
Morning is a time for waking. It is a time to have our first meal of the day and then to rest or play quietly. Darlyn learned about the early morning routine quite quickly and  we are all thankful for that because a small puppy sometimes can't be quiet. Of course, Darlyn still has a playful side, even in the quiet of the morning.  Raven likes to indulge Darlyn with a little quiet play time with the kong bone. It is a good thing to be quiet in the morning and think abut the coming day. I love my new lamby too, He is a good little pillow to rest upon. May your days be filled with peace my friend.

MY BIRTHDAY DAY!

It was a very snowy day here at our house but Mother said it wasn't so bad. I wore the Happy Birthday bandana all day but not outside. It was a lovely day and Mother and Father fussed all over me all day.  We watched out the kitchen door as Father cleared pathways for us in the snow. Mother gave us lots of treats just because. Right before dinner, Mother put out all the pressies. And cooked my birthday steak- which I shared with everybody. We waited in the snow until the celebrations were ready. It really seemed like forever.... Then it was time for my birthday dinner. I took my time eating my delirious  dinner. Father passed out all the pressies to everyone. And I got a lovely new Lamby. I am one lucky old puppy if you ask me! Thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes, Every day is a gift to me. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

Even in the beginning with my brothers and sisters and my  grandmother Abbey. There are the humans too in my family. Mother, Father and all my Aunties and Uncles- but I think I will keep it to the canine people in my life today.   I was born in the snows of New Hampshire on this day - fourteen years ago. I remember my family well. I still love the snow! And the water. And riding on the boat in our lake. I miss my Moula and all the road trips we took. Even though I am old, I still love sucking on my toys..... And napping. I can still goof around too. As   each new puppy came into my life, I taught them what Moula and Mother and Father taught me. Little Ari loved me from the very beginning because I reminded her of her own Mother Brynne. She was always asking me questions. I always loved napping on the big bed. And watching out the wi
