THE SCREECHING FIRE

Image
The puppies seem  to eat every other minute of the day! Ari  is constantly asking Mother or Father to   help   her lie down in the box- even though she knows how to do it herself. Last night  Syre's  mum and dad came to  see us- and the puppies too. Izzy went crqzy because she smelled her brother! Auntie  loved on me and I did not object. Ari lets me check in on her puppies  just like she let Moula check in. The sun was out this morning  and we took full advantage of it. It was very early in the morning  when a loud screeching noise came from the room with the fire. Mother and Father jumped up and could not stop the fire in the stove from screeching. The house was very cold after that but at least it was quiet. The puppies were still nice and warm so that is all that matters. It really did not matter to us one bit. Father had to tend to the fire so he did not   have time to take us all for a walk. Mia  got to go

TWO WEEKS OF WIGGLES

Even Ari can't believe these little puppies are only two weeks  old. They are taking their first steps already and they keepeating and eating and eating all day. Mother holds them in her  arms like a  little human baby. They are calm and quiet and happy that way. Father did not work today so  we all took it easy. The sun was out then in again and out again- just like us. Mother had some lessons this morning. I think they came to see the little puppies too. They all talked like Father talked... I just sat on the bed and listened while sucking on my toy. The boys left and Madeline came with her mother. She is an expert at holding the puppies by now. We relaxed a  bit while father worked on the leaves outside. Mother was busy taking the winter solstice  decorations  out and putting the pumpkins and such away for the season. Mia was happy to help Mother. Izzy thought she should help too. We waited patiently
