Mornings With Moula

My birthday was something very special. Someone sent a birthday box and Mother and Father added to it and friends sent little gifts. I think each day has little gifts to offer but I am overwhelmed with joy. Mother made us all little bits of steak and the smell filled every room in the house. The steak was delicious and even Dusty dug in without hesitation. Ari and I have been eating steak every ear since 2013 when Moula turned ten years old. Mother opened the box and there was a new birthday hat inside. I am not sure I'm happy with the hat... I wanted everyone to have some of the toys and treats. Dusty wanted to help me with my toys. We even had "Happy Birthday" toys! Father thought he was being funny. I was not amused. Oh- but the toys and treats kept coming from that box! I was so happy! I could still taste the steak on my lips. Everybody wanted the birthday cake treats! Dusty was very polite and waited patiently for all the toys and treats. We all waited our turns. Dus

This is a very long blog my friends and with good reason. It is sixteen years in the making. It is exactly how many years I have been alive plus one year. If a picture captures a moment in time I have sixteen years filled with moments. Some good, some sad, some great, some bad.   Family have come and gone, both four legged and two legged. I have seen all seasons.  I have known great joy. I learned to love and to respect. And passed my wisdom on to everyone who came after I did. I am blessed to have my very own pool. And comfy beds everywhere I go. Snuggles are my favourites. And joy.  have taught so many how to swim. And have been dubbed "Sea Dog Souris" because I have the privilege of riding on my very own boat. I love the breezy sun on my face. And sometimes just to hide and nap. o many toys have come and gone. Oh- but the naps... Moments spent with family. And birthdays filed with steak or chicken. Learning new things... And naps. And Joy. Baby puppies galore. Some even st
