THE LAST OF THE SWIMMING DAYS

Image
Mother and Father are waiting to take the pool down but these last days before the rain have been so warm that they let us swim as much as we wanted. Izzy is so happy that she smiles from ear to ear to ear. She really is our little fish.  I think Izzy knows  it is the last days of swimming for the year so she is making the best of every moment. Each day we went swimming was bittersweet for a very strange year with no puppies and no visitors around but we kept swimming and diving and smiling. Mother says next year will be better. I hope so. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

WAITIING ON THE RAIN

Image
The daisies that bloom in the Autumn light have finally started to come out. I think they are waiting for the rains  to start . It has been many many days since the flowers had rain. We  are waiting in the misty morning fog for the rains to come as well. Father is at the office today so we are kind  of sad. Mia likes to remind Mother of the impending rain and that we should go outside with chewing bones before it;'s too late. Chewing bones always seem to taste better right before the rains. The best thing to do when it's raining is to nap.  It's good that we are experts at napping. And now we wait for the rain. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

SECOND DAY ADVENTURES

Image
Mia had her birthday celebration last night and we started off with some delicious  chcken that Mother cooked on the cooker.   Then we all got some toys. Mia got a new special kong and Mia and Raven made quick work of two of the toys- leaving stuffing all over the floors. This morning we all had chewing bones outside. It was very warm outside! Yesterday afternoon was very warm too and Izzy was very happy to go into the pool again! She was in the pool on Saturday as well. All in all - we had a great second day adventure! Now I need a nap. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

BIIRTHDAY MORNING

Image
It is a good morning for our little Miabella. She is two years old today. Mia knows it is her special day and is being extra good.  Father gave her extra pumpkin in her kong this morning and we await the birthday festivities . Mia is so clever and so playful every day. She is also very sweet to her sisters Izzy and Raven. She especially likes to teach Raven all the tricks of living in our house. Now we wait for presents and chicken on the  grill! Oh how I love birthday mornings! Raven keeps asking Mother when the party starts. Sometimes Mia teases me in a playful matter but then she is very sweet to me and I can't help loving her. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

FLOWER'S END

Image
In the brilliant late September light- the last of the summer flowers bloom. Mother keeps on chopping out the plants in the garden beds- even as we nap. Some flowers are spared because I think they can stay a little longer as the days grow colder. Most of them have to go because Mother only has so much time to work in thte garden. They will be back in thte Spring agan. When Mother takes a break- we gather around and ask her for treats and bones and fusses. But really, we are just grateful to be able to be with Mother- working in thee garden. May your days be filled with peace my friends...
