A DUSTING FOR DUSTY

Image
It snowed a bit ad Dusty went crazy trying to get away from the flakes. She asked Mother about the snow and Mother said it was just a bit of a dusting- like little Dusty. The snow did not last long but it was long enough for us to hunker down in the bedroom. Auntie Lois came to see Mother and have some tea and Dusty was so happy to see her! Then she hunkered down like the rest of us. I think it will be a long winter. I think we  are prepared. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

GO FETCH!

Image
Dusty is taking her Mama Mia and her sister and her Aunties in loving all types of kongs. She loves to go fetch them for Mother to toss again. Aussie is looking after Roxie in the chicken coop while Snowy keeps working on the pumpkin in the pen. Dusty likes to watch the chickens play. Mother and Father took Dusty to the Doctor's  to get her last puppy shots for now. She was a very good girl and loved everyone in the office. The morning sun felt good on our faces  even as it was so very cold outside. I can feel the winter coming in my bones. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

A DAY OF REST

Image
Lilibet  was very happy with all her gifts- we all were very happy! The rains subsided and we just chilled out after all the festivities of the past days. Mother got us all chewing bones for the morning and we were very happy! Dusty thought Mother left her out but then she was presented with her verry own chewing bone. She tends to play with her bones before she settles down for a chew. I am not that picky. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

LILIBET'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Image
I can hardly believe it has been a whole year since Lilibet was born right here in this house! It was a very special day then and Mother and Father made it a very special day today too. They worked outside before the rains came and then the festivities began. Mother cooked  the chicken and put all the gifts out for us to see. Lilibet wore the birthday bandana with pride. And waited patiently for the party to begin. Father served the cicken with ur food. Lilibet inspected Dusty's  dish since Dusty eats first. She told her to eat up all the chicken. The rest of us waited patiently for the kibble to be added to our dishes. Then it was chicken time! Dusty was still not sure what was happening so she asked me abut it. It was pressie time! I told Dusty to get in there for treats and pressies! She grabbed her pressie and went under Father's chair . it was a wonderful celebration!   May your days be filled with peace my friends...
