BEFORE THE STORM

Image
Before the storm, the sky was sunny and we could feel the air changing just by lifting our noses. Before the storm, Mother went all around the back garden to pick up toys and bones that might get lost if we get some snow. Before the storm, we gather together to discuss what fun the snow could be. Before the storm, Father and Mother trained the puppies together. Before the storm, the sun was bright and we can't even think of snow or ice or anything else but sun. Before every storm there is sun shine and during the storm we forget the sunshine we had until it comes again to shine. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

SUNDAY FUN

Image
Weekends are for play. The puppies get more and more permissions to play in our house. Mother lets them play until they are quiet and calm. Mia hides out in her favourite chair. She lets her puppies play with each other mostly. Raven and Izzy watch them outside the kitchen door. Father gave me lots and lots of fusses- I was smiling ear to ear to ear! We love the quiet Sundays- even as we have to wait for the puppies to finish playing outside. We share everything we have. Sundays are for fun and good times for sure May your days be filled with peace my friends.

THIRTEEN WEEKS OF WIGGLES

Image
It's been thirteen weeks since Mia's puppies came into our lives. Mother says all the boys are doing so well! Our two little girls are like peas in a pod! They love each other but love Mother and Father more. I know they love the rest of us too. They grow by the minute! And love to carry things together. They love the new bed outside. They are tiny under the sun but big in each one of our hearts. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

THE ONCE RED BALL, AGAIN

Image
The sun peaked out finally from all the clouds and the winds whistled in our ears and we took it easy this morning Vikki and Lilibet found the once red ball that belonged to Moula nearly twenty years ago. We each found and played with this ball and I think Moula would apporve of these little girls having a go at it. They mostly carried it around the back gardens together. They would  let go ad let the ball roll down the little hill and catch it again. T hen play tug o war with the once red ball. Of course when Mother let me come outside, they gathered around me with gentle joy. I love being their great Aunt Souris! Mother started tossing the ball for the girls to retrieve it back. Vikki was the fastest but I think Lilibet just did not want to get it. Vikki brought me the once red ball and I explained that I could not toss the ball for her. They loved on me anyway. They are turning out to be little princesses for sure We are all very happy that they have each other.  May your days be fi
