Mornings With Moula

Mum lets blue outside with everyone but her mama Dusty. She loves to tag along with me. Maybe too much. I suppose I know a lot more about life than she does so she tries to learn from me. Of course, she is her Grandmama's close shadow too. Mia does not mind. Perhaps she remembers the days when she would crawl into the crate with me and with Izzy Blueberry certainly loves her great great uncle Bruiser's racoon!  And she still becomes a shadow beneath the Kurado bed- until she can no longer fit that is... Mum let's her decide when to swim and when to float around in one of the rafts. She always chooses  wisely. And calculates when she wants to take a lap across the pool. No one seems to mind. And after, we get our ears and  coats cleaned and dried and reflect on what lucky puppies we really are. Ciao for now my friends...  

The stormy nights make us want to be together. As we wait for the sun to shine again. Or at least be warm enough to go back into the pool.  And that's what we did! Blueberry always gets into the pool with Mum first. Then the rest of us go in with everyone Blue jumps in off her floats and swims a bit at a time. She is getting  so good at swimming! It's such a tiring,exciting thing to swim and everyone gets to relax when the storms come back. Ciao for now my friends...  

Quiet mornings sometimes lead to exciting days. Even when they start out slow. Quiet is the time to relax. And play with family. Or by yourself. And it is a time to rest up because... Not so little Lexie (Formerly known as Apple) came over with her Mum and Dad to see Blueberry and to learn how to swim. Blue showed her the ropes and told her all about our pool. Then Mum carried Lexie into the water. And Blue watched They had a great time together and Lexie was a natural just like the rest of us. It ws a glorious exciting day! Dusty got to play with her daughters- closely supervised. Then Blue and Lexie said their good byes for now. It was a lovely end of a special day. Ciao for now my friends...
