Mornings With Moula

I am feeling good these days. Mother says I look better than I did  just a few years ago. I still like playing with toys and having snuggles and of course,- treats! The little beans are barking and walking now and hearing a bit better each day.   They love Raven's Tigger in the pen. But mostly they lke to eat. Mia likes to watch them play from outside the box. The rest of us were outside because the sun was out finally. Izzy stared longingly at the pool. And Vikki likes to hide under the BBQ. The Littkes are calming  down quite a bit now. Grand mama Ari is thankful for that! I am just thankful. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

I am fifteen years and eight months old now. I don't feel much different except that I take the time to listen to the world and breathe in all it's glorious scents. Even though my  eyes are not as sharp as they used to, I see everything with a calm presence. I am old. Very old. I know. I watch the Littles run around frantically  and I know they won't listen to me until they become me. Slow down. Relax. Listen and enjoy. I am so much older than Mia's new puppies.  They are  growing and walking and hearing and seeing, just like me.   It is funny I think, that the beginning and the end is nearly the same. But for now I think I will nap. Or ask for a chewing bone? I have the  whole day to decide. I love my life. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

The puppies are growing so fast! Most of them can hear a little bit and walk a little bit like drunken sailors. Most  have their eyes wide open and some have their eyes just slightly open.   Not bad for two weeks old. Auntie Gwen came to clip puppies nails again and to snuggle everyone! First up was Onyx Then Little Hope. Next was Price but his eyes were nearly open. Ali was next. And then Midnight. Sunnie looked a bit dazed with all the new senses coming to them. And Stardust took it all in her stride! Mia is ding such a great job with her puppies. She is such a good Mama Mia! May your days be filled with peace my friends...

 It sure is the dog days of summer indeed and the beans are walking and  little Hope's eyes are open wide! she is the only one! Mia has settled into a routine for at least another week. And her puppies grow by the minute. The rest of us went outside with Mother and Father and we had a splendid time in the pool. Everyone dove in- even Ari! But Ari comes out of the pool to be with me. I don't mind her doing that. It is getting to the end of summer so these days are precious few. Especially for me. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

It was quite a day when the puppies eyes are peeking through their closed slits and Auntie Lois came to see us and visit with Mother too. Mia was very happy to see Auntie because Auntie gives her massages. She helps  with holding the puppies too. But the massages are the best. Even the puppies relaxed with Auntie's magic touch. Auntie went into the garden and picked lots of veggies. I wanted to help but she was very fast! It was nice to relax without all the other puppies around.   Auntie left and Mia was with her puppies and all was quiet for a short time. Until Auntie Kathy and Uncle John came around and helped Mia to clean her puppies. The puppies bellies were full and happy. It was a great day indeed. May your days be filled with peace my friends...
