Mornings With Moula

The days are ever shorter and the nights are ever darker but my little nieces and nephews are adorable little nuggets of sunshine!  Little Dunkin is growing faster now. He is catching up to his brothers and sisters .   The puppies find the strangest places to nap. Mama Mia is such a good mother. She  never wants to leave her puppies. The rest of us gather in the kitchen and wait for the light of the day. The puppies seem to wait for something too. I think they are waiting to play with our toys. Or maybe they wait for  our treats? They certainly know how to nap already And they always know where to eat. They are our sunshine in the darkness for sure! May your days be filled with peace my friends...

Mother and Father seemed to have slept a very long time so we slept too. Without little Darlyn here and with Mia being a new mama, it is a really quiet house except for the mouse like squeals of the new born puppies. They all look like little piglets at the moment. It was strangely warm weather  outside the the sun danced in and out of the clouds. It isn't much fun with just the four of us outside. Mia does not want to leave her box this time around.  The puppies love to eat for sure! They are very cute- especially the ones that look like me. I suppose it is tough being a baby puppy. We all decided to look out for danger that might upset Mia oor her puppies. I was in charge of looking out for Father which meant it was supper time! May your days be filled with peace my friends...

Not quite the first day all together but the puppies are doing fine and the rest of us decided to let them and Mama Mia rest. Izzy wanted to bring them her favourite Lamby so they could snuggle down into her. Auntie Mickie left us for home after a few hours nap. Mia complained it was too hot but the puppies thought otherwise. They seem very happy. Mia is such a great Mama. She doesn't even want to leave the box. Auntie Gwen and Auntie Lois came to clip their nails for the first time and they got their second weigh in on the scales. Mia was very thankful for all the help. She knows that everyone is there to help her with her puppies and it shows.  The rest of us are all respectful of the new mum and her pups even though Grandmama Ari wants to be with her grandpups! From Friday to now- Sunday. It was a game of waiting and a game of staying awake. Aubtie Lois came for a bit to calm Mia with Massage. Mia panted all the day long and into the night. Until her first puppy came. Auntie Mickie was there to catch him. A yellow boy with tiger stripes on him that faded soon after. They call him "Tigger"   Not too long after that, a little black boy came out and Auntie Lois named him Velvet because he looked like velvet. Not very long after that a little girl came into our lives and Auntie Lois named her"Sable" A few hours into the night again and a little yellow boy came rushing into the world and Auntie Mickie named him "lightening" Mia and everyone  were doing fine but very very tired. It was into the wee hours of the morning that a little black girl came into our world. She was having trouble dealing with the change but Aunt Mickie performed a miracle and the little black girl came to life with a mighty squeal and force! Mot
