IS IT SUMMER?

Image
Mum put the kitchen fan on very early in the morning. The baby chicks were hot so she turned off their heat lamp. Mia took full advantage of the coolness in the kitchen. And we were all outside pretty early in the morning while the air was still cool. Of course, we had chewing bones. But it was really too hot to be outside for too long. But it's never too hot for treats. Or to snuggle under the fans together. I am not sure but I think it is not quite summer yet. Ciao for now my friends...

PATIENCE

Image
The improvements to the house as still not complete and Mum has not put things back where they belong. She says that everything these days takes patience so we wait to get our house back in order. Dusty is still learning patience. But the rest of us learn to relax. Especially when waiting for the weather to be warm enough to go into the pool. I guess it's best to occupy yourself with other things. And learn to wait. Ciao for now my friends...

PUPPIES AT PLAY DAY

Image
We have so many new things to play with after my birthday celebration. Mum said  it took forever to clean up. But it did not stop us from having our chewing bones. We were all smiling big bright smiles! I am such a happy girl. I think everything will be all right as long as we can smile and play. Dad always brings toys and bones in for  us wen we sit to watch the telly with Mum and Dad. Dusty is just learning how special this time is. Souris and the rest of us already knew. We are respectful of the gates put up especially to keep an eye on Dusty. She will have her fence separating us for a while still. The rest of us pretty much have the run of the house. I think Raven has taken to Dusty and vice versa. Dusty plays very gently with her Raven. Mum and Dad took Dusty on a car ride. She loves her adventures with Mum and Dad. We all need to learn to play as much as we can and work when we need to work. Ciao for now my friends...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Image
It was a bittersweet birthday celebration for me. My first birthday without my Souris. Mum made it extra special with me spending time with her alone at times. Mum brushed me and fussed me and even gave me an extra special chewing bone by myself.  I helped her bring all the pressies out  for me and everybody! I wore Souris's birthday hat from just a few months ago when she turned sixteen years old. It felt like she was here with me. I helped Mum make the steak for our dinner. Then everyone woke up from their naps and were filled with excitement. They knew that they would have steak with me. Mia supervised the portions. Then Dad filled our bowls with our regular food on top of the steak. Dusty ate around her puppy food at first. We all relished  the steak. And even though I have Souris's spot. There is a huge hole where she once stood. Dad has not moved anyone up yet. Then it was time for chewing bones and toys and treats. There were so many new things to try! It was a lovely pa
