TWENTY WEEKS OF WIGGLES AND...

Image
So it was supposed to be Dusty's day of turning twenty weeks and we did have a nice morning with chewing bones and a sliver of sunshine before the snowflakes came around us.   Lilibet came inside covered i.n mud from head to toe and Mother wiped her down But she was also holding up her right hind leg ad that made Mother upset. We waited for Mother to call the Doctor. So Lilibet went away with Mother and Father and came back with medicines and chewing bones and Mother seemed relived  that she would be okay. Just a strain. What a way to end the year! May your days be filled with peace my friends...

DUSTY'S DAY

Image
It was a busy day fr all of us. But Dusty had her share of excitement. She went away in Father's car to get her last jab of the year. Mother promised her that the doctor would have the stinky cheese and of course, Dusty loved it!   The Doctor gave her extra because she was so sweet. As a treat, Mother and Father took Dusty to her favourite store where she was happy to meet so many people! She met the cat lady taking care of all the kittens. She was happy to see all the kitties. Father said she could chose a special toy and she went right to the kong balls. She checked out all the toys Then asked Father for one more toy. A small dounut. She got fusses from the lady in the front oh and a treat too. She was so happy  and tired that she went right into her crate when she got home. She was very proud of her choices. It's always a special day when Mother and Father take you on a road trip. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

THE LITTLE ONES

Image
I suppose all the  puppies in the house can be considered the little ones. After all, even though Ari was not born here in the house, she did come here as a very tiny puppy and since her mother was yellow like me, she bonded with me immediately. I suppose the littlest littles are Lilibet and Dust They are learning to be sisters every day. They are half sisters so that makes it easier. Every thing is  a process. With the rain still falling outside, Dusty has to play inside with us. I really don't mind her at all. She is very gentle with me and my old old bones. Mother says the rains should stop before the new year. I won't hold my breath. Lilibet  too wants to be outside instead of inside. Oh to be young again. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

QUIET IN THE RAIN

Image
What do you do when the rain and fog continues to plague your days? You hunker down and try to get along. It's never been an issue for our pack to get along. Even little Dusty fits in when Mother and Father watch her and us interact. We love to nap together. Izzy even sits on me to keep me warm. Lilibet likes to stretch herself between us. It is quiet here- in the rain. I am teaching Dusty about the quiet. I think it is most definitely an art form. May your days be filled with peace my friends...
