QUIET IN THE RAIN

What do you do when the rain and fog continues to plague your days? You hunker down and try to get along.
It's never been an issue for our pack to get along.
Even little Dusty fits in when Mother and Father watch her and us interact.
We love to nap together.
Izzy even sits on me to keep me warm.
Lilibet likes to stretch herself between us.


It is quiet here- in the rain.
I am teaching Dusty about the quiet.
I think it is most definitely an art form.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it.
