Mornings With Moula

Arabella was still very clingy this morning- even though Izzy was home and Mother was fussing all of us. And Izzy juts had to be wherever Mother happened to be. I think  she really missed her. We were outside all morning. Mother did some work before she went to school and she took us out back to play fetch with all the balls from outside. Izzy was so happy. Later Mother took Izzy out in the front yard and they played together and izzy was not even on her leash- she was just so happy to be near her Mother. Father put us in the bedroom while Nappy was out in the kitchen..... We wanted to play with Nappy. Well Ari and Izzy wanted to play with Nappy- I just wanted a fuss from Mother. I suppose Izzy will keep going away like Ari went  away and came back. It is nice to have us all together again. We are happy when we are together. Even though Moula is not here- when we are all together- she seems to  be here too..... May your days be filled with peace my fri

How great it is to wake up in the morning and sit outside in the fresh air! Mother was out early- before her lessons- to finish working in the garden before the mulch  comes. I hate the mulch! Mother is too sore to take me for walkies when there is mulch to be moved. Today was a good day. Izzy was on her way home and Ari and I were happy. Annika was happy too! She was going home with her mother today. We were waiting and waiting for Izzy to come home. We waited inside and I waited outside on my favourite  bed. Finally Mother and Father brought Izzy home! We were so happy to see her! She smelled like Auntie Donna's house. Izzy did not want to leave Mother's side. She was happy to be home. And she brought ribbons and checks! The sun was out this morning and Mother was out doing work in the garden all day! We had a nap first thing before we went outside to play in the sunshine. Father put out our summer beds and Ari spent a lot of time rolling around on the bed. Mother got a text from Auntie Stephanie with a picture like the one Ari had in Canada. Izzy had two shows and she got two ribbons! We were all excited to see the picture! Of course she had her toy in her mouth! I taught her that!!!! Izzy will have two more shows tomorrow before we see her again. I really miss that little girl! Auntie Anne came with  Uncle  Tommy and Monkey to get some of Mother's plants and to get some of the chicken's eggs too. Mother was too tired to have Monkey come and play with us..... maybe next time. It was almost like Spring today. Izzy arrived safely in Rhode Island. We are very sad here. First - it is raining again and we are very quiet. Arabella is glued to Mother's side. She misses Izzy so much I think it hurts. Even little Annika is  quiet and won't leave Mother's side. Mother told us all that Izzy is at her shows but even I don't believe it  completely. Annika on Moula's pillow I also felt the need to be by Mother's side. I don't think she minds too much..... Arabella has been very quiet. She didn't even bark when someone came to the door. Mother promised her that Izzy would be home in a couple of days. I don't think Ari believed her- not really. I suppose we all hope that what we are told is true. I guess the thing to do is to wait and see and continue on  with what we have to do in the meantime.... May your days be filled with peace my friends.....

This is me- asking where Izzy went......she went away and Ari and I got nervous. Mother said she went away to  the shows with Auntie Stephanie. She said she would be back home in a few days. The sun came out after all the rain and Mother sang "Happy Birthday" to Arabella and gave her a special big bone. Then  Izzy and Mother went away. Today we celebrate Arabella's fifth birthday! It is really tomorrow but because Izabella is going away tomorrow, we celebrate today. It's good to celebrate once in a while.  Mother made turkey burgers and cut them up in little pieces. Annika stole one of the new toys we got but she came running back for the turkey burgers. I saw Mother packing Izzy's suitcase. Actually it was Ari's suitcase first.  I don't think Izzy knows she is going away yet. Annka continues to snuggle  up to any one in a crate. Today it was Izzy.   Izzy  didn't mind I think. This was the first celebration that Moula was not here. She would have taken her toy and played with it for hours. I suppose we all need to celebrate sometimes. Do a little something different, make someone happy. We will still celebrate tomorrow but tonight was certainly nice.
