HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVE!










Today we celebrate Arabella's fifth birthday! It is really tomorrow but because Izabella is going away tomorrow, we celebrate today.

It's good to celebrate once in a while.  Mother made turkey burgers and cut them up in little pieces. Annika stole one of the new toys we got but she came running back for the turkey burgers.









I saw Mother packing Izzy's suitcase. Actually it was Ari's suitcase first.  I don't think Izzy knows she is going away yet.

Annka continues to snuggle  up to any one in a crate. Today it was Izzy.


  Izzy  didn't mind I think.


This was the first celebration that Moula was not here. She would have taken her toy and played with it for hours.

I suppose we all need to celebrate sometimes. Do a little something different, make someone happy.
We will still celebrate tomorrow but tonight was certainly nice.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. THE BEANS FIRST VET VISIT

It was early in the morning when Mother and Father loaded the Beans into the crates in the car and headed to the Doctor's place. They were put into a big tub and waited for the Doctor to come into the room. They were very good except for pooping in the tub. First up was Hope. She checked out  and got her microchip and her first shot. Oh and they each got some stinky cheese from a can. Dusty was up next. Onyx was next- she did not mind getting her eyes and ears checked out. Sunnie was next- she really liked the vet tech who was very gentle with all the puppies. Ali was next- none of the puppies cried when they were jabbed. Prince was an absolute sweetheart. Midnight loved the stinky cheese the most. The puppies went right outside in the warm sunshine. Mia was so glad her puppies were home I am secretly glad they are back too. The beans napped for a few hours Everyone kept watch over them. Until it was lunchtime and they ate nearly everything. THE DAY OF DEAFENING QUIET

It all happened so fast. We did not know, I did not know. No one really knew but Souris knew. She knew it was her time to run free and find her Moula.                                                       My name is Arabella Castellabate . I am Souris sister by association. I am named after my Mum's grandfather's town in Italy. I am Mother to eleven puppies including Izzy, Mia and Raven. Mia is actually related to Souris. It is with a broken heart that I take the reins of the blog from Souris. I hope I can honour her with my writing. It was just like any other morning though it was raining still. Mother gave us chewing bones before she went to school. Souris wrote her blog and slept on all the rugs that Mum and Dad put on the floors to help Souris not slip.
