WAITING FOR DINNER

Image
It might only be a Monday morning and the last day of September and our  bellies filled with breakfast. But really- we are just waiting for dinner. Mother took us for walkies in the morning because she had to go  to school. And Izzy went fisrt because Mother needed to take her poop to the doctor's place. Mia practiced watching out for hawks. Izzy just chilled with Ari and with me. It rained a bit and we waited patiently for dinner but Mother said Father was working late today. So we waited by the door so he would not miss us. And we would not miss him. And he would not miss giving  us our dinner. We are very good at waiting for dinner. May your days be filled with peace my friends....

BIRTHDAY BREAKFAST AND THE LAST DAY IN THE POOL

Image
Mother made us chicken for Mia's birthday. We were not expecting this special treat! Mia tried to snatch everyone's chicken but Father made sure we each got our share. Later- when the sun warmed everything we spent some time soaking up the last of the September rays. The strawberries and raspberries are confused by  the warm weather.  Mia on the other hand - found a cool spot in the plants by the wall. It is very dry outside- Mother keeps having to give us water and we share the water with the chickens who roam free. Mother invited us into the pool one last time but we were not feeling like it was pool time. Izzy and Mia shrugged and finally jumped into the pool but afterwards Mother started to drain the pool. I can't wait to have MY pool back in the Spring. I could tell Izzy was sad that pool time would be over but everything has it's season and it's time to exsist. Moula taught me that when I

BYE BYE SOPHIE

It seems like yesterday that little Sophie came to play with us. She made herself at home with us and we all love her so much. Sophie's peoples came to take her home and everyone jumped all over each other- I just stayed low and sucked on my toy. Sophie's brother and sister fussed us and Nappy too. Mia asked them if Sophie could stay but alas. She had to go home. Mia moped around all day.... We all took it a little easy today. I suppose we were all a bit sad that Sophie wasn't here to play with us. May your days be filled with peace my friends....

A YEAR WITH MISS MIABELLA

Image
I can hardly believe it has been one year since little Mia and her brothers Fagan and Jaxon came into our lives and even though we do not see Mia's brothers- they stay in touch through pictures. Brother Fagan Brother Jaxon and his Uncle Cooper Through each month from the first day- we watched Mia grow. And grow.    And grow..... And each month she grew stronger and chewed more of all our stuff and grew smarter too. She got into a lot of things she should not have and gave us the biggest laughs. And now it is Mia's birthday. We all gathered for special treats. Sophie too. Sophie and Mia are best friends and are always playing together. Mother and Father made a big fuss and promised us a chicken dinner (not from the ladies outside) Mia is very happy. She enjoyed herself outside in the sun. She enjoyed sharing her birthday toys with all of us. I suppose we all get birthdays on
