Mornings With Moula

Things are quieting down now as most of the puppies are in their homes and my birthday celebrations are behind us. The two little girls are learning routines and structure like us big girls.   Mother calls the yellow girl   Lilibet and the black girl Vikki. There are reasons for this of course but the pupies are getting used to their names as well. ikki has mastered the bells that open the door. Mother wants me to help raise the puppies. The other girls will have to wait their turns. Mother walks the little ones out front but they do not like the loud noises of the cars passing by. I am the only one they love to follow outside. I think grandma Ari is allowed to be with them too. Vikki loves me the most and has so many questions to ask me all the time. I will try to teach them respect and to be gentle-  especially with me. The puppies know that the kitchen is their safe place to play. I taught them to wait their turns at the water bowl. Auntie Gwen came to see the girls and cuddle with

I awoke in the morning to Mother singing the birthday song to me. She sang it several  times in the early morning and made me smile ear to ear to ear. I wore the birthday bandanna and was surrounded by my entire family. It was just like any other morning in my fifteen years here but things would change as the day progressed. Father had me go outside with the wee little ones since they are only nine weeks old. Vikki really ahas a  fascination with me but who can blame her? Mother and Father took me in the car after lunchtime to my favourite store where Father sometimes works. I always love a car ride! I met a lovely boy and girl  who fussed over me for a long time. We went exploring with all the toys and chewing bones. And that lovely boy and girl came to find us with a birthday gift for me!!!!!! I was not expecting a toy! I picked out my chewing bone and we waited in the Que. Father's friend who works there gave me a treat. I thanked her with a wet kiss. I took my toy and my treat
