Mornings With Moula

Fridays in the summer usually feel like Saturday mornings. We have come to expect walkies for each one of us. And just like the Angels we are at dinner time, we wait like angels for our walkies. I like to wait for my walkies beyond the kitchen gate.  Raven makes sure I know that she is next for walkies. Usually we just wait our turn to explore our neighbourhood  with Father. Mother and Father took us all into the pool with them. Everyone went into the pool. I went in a little and Mia went in all by herself! And now we nap. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

 Father had to go to the office today so we were all flat out for the morning. Mia has to stay quiet because her leg was hurt but tthe rest of us stayed quiet so Mia did not feel so bad.  When Father came home He took Ari and Izzy and Raven into the pool. I stayed back with Mia to keep her company. She is being a good sort about it! Raven told me all about how they swam and played monkey in the Middle wiith Mother and Father. Ari is back to her old self again.  Izyy likes to dive right by Father.  It was time for dinner and we all gathered around Father asking  him for dinner.  I suppose we are always very good   right before our meals....  It is still so very hot outside. Every day and every night and we are thankful that we have a cool place to be and we are thankful that we are all together. Ari has started to unmake Mother's  bed again. Just like Moula used to do.   Then Mia joined her. I sought the cool  darkness under thte fan in the family room Everyone likes to lay low when it is hot.  suppose we all have our own kind of coolness.  Even outside. Mother and Father took Izzy and Mia and Raven to training this morning.  Raven said she is getting the hang of it and Izzy said it was fun to see everyone again and Mia loved just hanging out in the crate and shade of the car.  Then they all hung around the water bowl.  Later in the afternoon it was pool time again. Time to cool off.   Izzy is the last one out of the pool. She stays in with Mother who swims laps back and forth in the pool. Izzy knows when it is time to get out of the pool but

Raven has this thing. She has to have a bumper in her mouth at all times- in the pool. Lately- she has taken two bumpers at the same time!. She never strops swimming the whole time we are in the pool! We  are all so thankful that we have our pool this year because it is so very hot outside- every day! Even Ari is swimming most of the time. I swim until my legs hurt then just soak my paws on the first step. The pool water is a  bit warm but Mother said she would add some ice! Maybe it will cool off soon. But now we are drying off and waiting for dinner. May your days be filled with peace my friends...
