Mornings With Moula

Morning came slowly this morning. We stretched out in the bedroom and on the floor  and waited to go outside. We waited for Mother  in the kitchen.  We waited by the door as the thunder started to roll around the sky. Then we were in the back garden looking for the little bunny that has taken up residence in the plants that don't belong against the  garden fence. When our business was done- we  went inside to nap  while the storms rolled in. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

I  could feel the heat of the morning sun through the kitchen  door. I am glad that it is now cool in our house because  the heat made us pant all the time and made Mother and Father very tired and sick. But we were cool inside the house and taking advantage of the coolness. Mother had to go out inn the heat to teach and John came to take  away the plants that don't belong. We watched him whie we did our business in the back garden and then we went back inside to cool off. We made sure John came in to cool off and give us lots of fusses. But it is just too hot to be outside. May your days be filled with peace my friends.....

It's Monday morning again and the doorbell rang early. It was Mother's student John and Mother said he was here to take away the plants that don't belong. John went out to the patio and knelt down and started pulling plants from between the bricks. Mother went outside to help him a bit. I can see the strawberry plants in the strawberry patch again! We had to watch from the kitchen door as they worked because Mother was afraid we would bother them. So we napped a bit until we were allowed to go outside. We checked out the work John was doing. I bet our eyes won't itch so much once the plants that don't belong are gone. And then Mother let us go into our pool. Mother seems very happy that the plants are going away. We are happy too. Our back garden is filled with things that buzz and dart or float upon the wind. Even the two little bunnies that found an oasis in our back garden tend to fly upon the ground. We never chase them because they might be Nappy's family. It was a sunny Sunday morning as we napped the day away. Outside was hot so we sat still and listened to  the song of the birds and when it was quiet enough- we could hear the dragonflies. Mother says we should not bother the dragonflies because they eat lots of other bugs and itis good for our garden. Just like the snakes  that live in our garden. Mother and Father brought cousin Steven over to visit us and play with us in the pool. He was a nice boy who let us kiss him. And we showed him how to swim. We showed him the garden and told him all about the butterflies and the dragonflies and all the other things that fly. May your days be filled  with peace my friends.....
