OUR OWN ADVENTURES

Image
These are the days of our lives passing. There is nothing wrong with them . I remember much different days with Moula. It was always an adventure to be had. These days we nap and wait. When Mother is home, we go outside and find our own adventures. Mother picked up all the toys that we brought outside and put them on the table to be washed. Darlyn thought they were put there for her to take away. She could not figure out how to get the toys. It was a great puzzle to her Izzy asked Mother to help little Darlyn but it was not her adventure May your days be filed with peace my friends...

THE AIR OF HOPE

Image
The mornings are dark and cold already and there is anticipation in the air. Something that is coming. Mia rested all day. Mother kept her quiet and by her side. Darlyn I think, out of respect for her mother, is quiet too. It is easy to nap on cold mornings. Mother took Ari and Mia  outside with her as she gathered veggies from the garden. The morning glories are still out and seeking their morning sun. It is nice to see some flowers back after the drought and heat of the summer. And some flowers that are very confused. Mia was happy to sit up by the garden fence and watch Mother work. Ari was keeping watch over the garden by warning the hawks that she was watching them. Something is coming, familiar like before. We all can feel it in the air. It is a deep breathe and hold, it is hope.  May  your days be filled with peace my friends...

THE BIRTHDAY GIRL

Image
Mia was already pooped early in the morning of her birthday. She has a lot going on this week and nobody could blame her. The rest of us were quiet while Mia rested. Until Mother made us chicken in celebration of Mia's big day. Darlyn made sure everyone got a bit of chicken. Then we waited for our dinner. The presents were set up on the cooker while we are our dinner. Then it was present time. Mia got a special kong. The rest of us got spooky toys and Father said the chewing bones were on their way to our house. I liked the little mouse and the pumpkin. Everyone liked the pumpkin! Mia had such a  good birthday then needed a nap. It was a nice way to celebrate Mia's  fourth Birthday. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

FOUR YEARS OF WIGGLES

Image
I cannot believe that it has been four years since Mia wiggled into our hearts She was so small but big enough to take on her brothers!   Mia knew how to play her mother Ari. She has always been my favourite niece. I took care of her and now she takes care of me. So- Happy Birthday my little Miabella and I hope you have so many little puppies very soon. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

RESPECT

Image
It's amazing how we learn from each other over the years. Moula taught me everything. Ari and Izzy also learned from Moula and then it was my turn to teach what I learned to Mia and to Raven and in turn, they teach Darlyn. It not just about being a dog, or being in a pack. We teach each other about life. There is a respect in  our house. Not only for things inside the house but for each other and everyone who lives in our world. It is an unspoken respect. It is a gentle care. We learn to read the room. We  share our toys and chewing bones. And our napping spaces. I suppose we need to respect each other, our sameness and our differences- in order to have peace. May your days be filled with peace my friends...
