THE EVE OF ANOTHER DAY

Image
Mother  said that today was an extra special end of the year and the beginning of a new decade tomorrow. All I know is that it was still misty outside and muddy and grey and Mother and Father had lots of things to do. We stayed quiet in the early morning. napping on the towels on the floor or on the bed. The puppies too were napping in their boxes- not knowing how grey and misty it was outside. Ari looked in on them as usual though she is going in the box less and less each day. Cousin Jared came to help hook up an antenna but he really came to fuss us and see the puppies. Little Sophie's Mum and sister came to play with the puppies too. There was so much joy and laughter in the box   that the whole  house sang! The puppies were so happy- and so tired too. I suppose the phrase is "ring in the new year"  Here, we sing  in the new year. And nap. May your days be filled with peace my fr

RAINY DAYS MAKE ME SAD

Image
It started raining last night and now we have thunderstorms. All I know is that we must stay inside when the rain comes down. Mia is being a very good girl  even though she much rather be  running and playing outside. Ari and the puppies don't seem to mind the rain and storms one bit. Izzy and Mia like to play with the same chewing bone. We spend a lot of time together in the bedroom. And we wait by the kitchen door for the storms to stop. Rainy days make us sad. May your days be filled with  peace my friends.....

Auntie Ginnie came in the misty rain to chat with Mother and have some tea. We all missed her so very much! Izzy kept asking for chips and sweets. We all sat around and listened to the m talk and Ari  looked out to the rain. Then Mia tried to get some chips and sweets and maybe some tea. The puppies also asked to be picked up and snuggled. Little Boy kept  kissing Auntie's face. I think he was watching Izzy! The puppies did not seem to want to stay in their boxes. Mother and Auntie had more tea and chatted a little longer  while we rested in the kitchen Izzy did not want Auntie to leave and  she thought if she just kept  kissing her- she would not leave. But Auntie finished her tea and had to leave us. We  are al
