PUPPY DOG KISSES AND TIME FOR TEA

The rain came early today and  we were happy to stay inside and snuggle. Especially Izzy and Mia.

It was an inside kind of day and we took full advantage  of that.




Auntie Ginnie came in the misty rain to chat with Mother and have some tea.



We all missed her so very much! Izzy kept asking for chips and sweets.




We all sat around and listened to the m talk and Ari  looked out to the rain.


Then Mia tried to get some chips and sweets and maybe some tea.




The puppies also asked to be picked up and snuggled.



Little Boy kept  kissing Auntie's face. I think he was watching Izzy!




The puppies did not seem to want to stay in their boxes.



Mother and Auntie had more tea and chatted a little longer  while we rested in the kitchen



Izzy did not want Auntie to leave and  she thought if she just kept  kissing her- she would not leave.


But Auntie finished her tea and had to leave us. We  are all very sad- but we know there will be more times for tea......

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. Dusty keeps asking Mother when the skies will stop crying. But I don't think  it will stop any time soon.   May your days be filled with peace my friends...

THE BEANS FIRST VET VISIT

It was early in the morning when Mother and Father loaded the Beans into the crates in the car and headed to the Doctor's place. They were put into a big tub and waited for the Doctor to come into the room. They were very good except for pooping in the tub. First up was Hope. She checked out  and got her microchip and her first shot. Oh and they each got some stinky cheese from a can. Dusty was up next. Onyx was next- she did not mind getting her eyes and ears checked out. Sunnie was next- she really liked the vet tech who was very gentle with all the puppies. Ali was next- none of the puppies cried when they were jabbed. Prince was an absolute sweetheart. Midnight loved the stinky cheese the most. The puppies went right outside in the warm sunshine. Mia was so glad her puppies were home I am secretly glad they are back too. The beans napped for a few hours Everyone kept watch over them. Until it was lunchtime and they ate nearly everything. THE DAY OF DEAFENING QUIET

It all happened so fast. We did not know, I did not know. No one really knew but Souris knew. She knew it was her time to run free and find her Moula.                                                       My name is Arabella Castellabate . I am Souris sister by association. I am named after my Mum's grandfather's town in Italy. I am Mother to eleven puppies including Izzy, Mia and Raven. Mia is actually related to Souris. It is with a broken heart that I take the reins of the blog from Souris. I hope I can honour her with my writing. It was just like any other morning though it was raining still. Mother gave us chewing bones before she went to school. Souris wrote her blog and slept on all the rugs that Mum and Dad put on the floors to help Souris not slip.
