It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie.
It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us.
But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit.
She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us.
We chatted with Auntie too.
Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift.
We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it.
Margot took one of her presents and ran all over the house.
Mia inspected the toy after Auntie took the tags away,
We all took part in the play.
But then- the two besties: Margot and Dusty went on an adventure together.
They went to Winky's together, It was a day to meet Santa and go shopping and Margot got an extra toy octopus for her birthday!
Dusty greeted every puppy and every person with a kiss.
There was so much to see and smell in that store.
Dusty saw lots of toys that she could destroy in an instant.
And kissed all the people taking photos there.
Margot loved the beely rubs from Santa
And from what they came home and told me, thy had a really great time!
