RAINY DAYS MAKE ME SAD

It started raining last night and now we have thunderstorms. All I know is that we must stay inside when the rain comes down.

Mia is being a very good girl  even though she much rather be  running and playing outside.


Ari and the puppies don't seem to mind the rain and storms one bit.






Izzy and Mia like to play with the same chewing bone.

We spend a lot of time together in the bedroom.



And we wait by the kitchen door for the storms to stop.

Rainy days make us sad.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it.
