ALMOST LIKE SPRING

The sun was out this morning and Mother was out doing work in the garden all day!
We had a nap first thing before we went outside to play in the sunshine.

Father put out our summer beds and Ari spent a lot of time rolling around on the bed.

Mother got a text from Auntie Stephanie with a picture like the one Ari had in Canada.
Izzy had two shows and she got two ribbons! We were all excited to see the picture! Of course she had her toy in her mouth! I taught her that!!!!

Izzy will have two more shows tomorrow before we see her again. I really miss that little girl!

Auntie Anne came with  Uncle  Tommy and Monkey to get some of Mother's plants and to get some of the chicken's eggs too. Mother was too tired to have Monkey come and play with us..... maybe next time.

It was almost like Spring today. Mother and Father working hard in the garden- we spent so much time outside- UNTIL - it got very very dark and the winds howled around our ears and Ari stood up on the bench to taste the wind.

Then the ice fell from the sky and the rain and we all ran inside to get out of it all.
Mother was upset because she wanted to finish in the garden but I was relieved. I needed another nap.

 I suppose we all need to pace ourelves- even Spring- If everything got done at once I think we would miss the best parts......
