POOL DAYS ARE THE BEST DAYS

 It sure is the dog days of summer indeed and the beans are walking and  little Hope's eyes are open wide! she is the only one!
Mia has settled into a routine for at least another week.

And her puppies grow by the minute.
The rest of us went outside with Mother and Father and we had a splendid time in the pool.
Everyone dove in- even Ari!


But Ari comes out of the pool to be with me. I don't mind her doing that.


It is getting to the end of summer so these days are precious few.
Especially for me.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it. Margot took one of her presents and ran all over the house. Mia inspected the toy after Auntie took the tags away, We all took part in the play.
