FLOWER'S END

In the brilliant late September light- the last of the summer flowers bloom. Mother keeps on chopping out the plants in the garden beds- even as we nap.

Some flowers are spared because I think they can stay a little longer as the days grow colder.

Most of them have to go because Mother only has so much time to work in thte garden.

They will be back in thte Spring agan.

When Mother takes a break- we gather around and ask her for treats and bones and fusses.

But really, we are just grateful to be able to be with Mother- working in thee garden.

May your days be filled with peace my friends...
