Mornings With Moula

Sometimes we tend to hide our eyes at things we cannot fathom. Or we look away not sure what to say. Then something grabs our attention. And we gather together to act ad react. Once the ball gets roling.  We all go out to do our part. Our eyes are not hidden anymore. And our voices will be heard. Ciao for now my friends...

I love when Mum sits in the Tv room. I get to snuggle her or take up Moula's spot by the window to watch the world go by. It's my job now to teach all the youngsters about Auntie Moula. She was an amazing teacher for all of us. Even if I did not listen all the time. Mia was the first of our family not to know Moula and it shows. But I think maybe Mia does try to be a good girl. But sometimes it is hard. Ciao for now my friends...  

Maybe we should all just laugh. Especially when things seem impossible to believe. Maybe when the darkness seems unending. Maybe when the light seems so far away. Find a place that used to be. Somewhere safe in the corners oof our hearts and minds. Find the places to bring into light. To remember how it used to be. And laugh. Laugh hard and long and hard. Ciao for now my friends...  

Mum had to go to school again today. Pretty soon she will be home for a long while. She says it is Spring break but I see no signs of Spring just yet. We have our chewing bones amongst the ice. And I am ever looking for the hawks in the sky who think they can snatch our chickens. It's a game of melt and freeze each day. And all we can do is wait for Spring. Each in our own goofy ways. Ciao for now my friends...  

I love keeping Mum company when she does her exercises on top of her bed.  I get to watch out the window to wait for the snow to fall. Even Raven waits fr the snow. She thinks if the snow falls now, there won't be any more and we could go swimming sooner. And the snow did fall all around us but not much to have real fun. But the snow did fall and if Raven is correct, there is one less snow to fall before Spring! Ciao for now my friends...  

We makes the best decisions we can at each moment of the day. If a door is closed, we can wait until it is open or go through the window or simply get up and open it ourselves. If we are not comfortable where we are, we can try to change our position- even just a little bit. And it is a must to look a person in the eyes when you are speaking to them or they are speaking to you. It is just respect. And patience is more than a virtue in any situation. And of course, gather in the sunshine even when your hearts are dark. It will make you feel much better. So very much better. Ciao for now my friends...
