Mornings With Moula

We are so very tired of these cold and rainy days. There is nothing to do but watch the rain. We lie about on the kitchen floor together. And Mia keeps reminding Mum to fill her kong. Even though it had just been filled. And refilled. Then filled again. At least the Peonies are loving this rain. Ciao for now my friends....  

We were pretty happy and pretty tired after our pool day. Our coats are shiny clean and shedding all over the place. Of course,Mum brushes us as often as she can because we love it and need to be brushed. Raven was really tired because she and Izzy never stop swimming in the pool! We are respectful when Mum says it is not a pool day. And rest up for our next adventures. Dusty finished her latest adventure with another point, First in her class, Winners B*tch, then Best of opposite sex for Best of Breed. She has shows next weekend so she is staying with Auntie Nadine.   We are so very proud of her ! Ciao for Now my friends...

  There is a splash of late Spring colour popping out all over. But as far as we knew, there was no day for the pool. So we sat in the sunshine and enjoyed the cool breezes as Mum and Dad worked in the house. Mia kept asking for Kongs. Then the biggest surprise ever! Mum and Dad let us go swimming and diving! My girls went in- but it was a bit too chilly. Mum even got a new dock for Mia to go on. And Izzy took a hot second before she went swimming under the water. Raven had Dusty's ball . She was missing her a lot. We all are missing her. Mia will have to learn how to use the float for sure. Izzy did not miss a beat. It was a chilly afternoon and we are so thankful that our pool is open and ready for the weather to be warmer. Ciao for now my friends...  

Without a brood of puppies to keep her occupied, Mia tends to her siblings with care and with love. It is very touching to watch her tend to sister Izzy especially. Mia is such a loving and intelligent little girl. She can entertain herself for long periods of time but talks loud and clear when she wants or needs something. We are all very thankful for her care and her love. She has been cheering Izzy up since the weather has been horrid. All my girls are compassionate- especially with littles that need thir protection. They all go in to speak with the little chicks who are not quite 3 weeks old. It's so lovely to know my girls are so gentle. I could not be prouder- especially for Mia. Ciao for now my friends...  

It's the end of May and we still have not been in the pool. Mum says the water is perfect but it is very cold. But she said we could try to get into the pool but she and Dad will wait until the sun warms it up. Izzy is nit happy but she understands. Mum and Dad worked to sort out the garage and to put the new diving dock in the pool for Miss Mia. Still, it does not seem fair that the water is still cold and that rain is supposed to come again for most of the week. Izzy loves to keep Mum company while she does her bike exercise. But we all just dream of warmer and sunnier days of swimming. Ciao for now my friends....
