WAKE ME WHEN IT'S DINNER TIME

Image
It's foggy mornings filled with wildfire smoke that makes us lazy and tired.  We find  new comfy and not so comfy places to nap and to wait. We wait and dream of dinner time. Or better, sunnier days with bright skies and sunshine. But mostly we wait and dream and rest and wait some more for dinner time. Ciao for now my friends...

EVEN IN THE EARLY MORNING

Image
Dusty  ( and sometimes Raven) take the silver slow down balls after every meal. Dad always for gets to pick them  up. It is so very hot outside that we all begged to go into the pool- even in the early morning hours. But Mum needed to work on the vegetable garden. It was okay because she gave us beans to munch on. We stayed out in the early morning sun for a  bit before Mum said it was way too hot. But the flowers don't seem to mind much I must say, as lucky puppies go - we are very lucky. Ciao for now my friends...

A MORNING THING

Image
Waiting for breakfast at the gate is a daily morning thing. Waiting for Mum to finish in the garden is also a morning thing. Lazing in the morning air is a morning thing. And asking Mum to go for a swim is a morning thing. Having fresh water in the summer is a morning thing. Begging for french green beans from Mum's garden is a morning thing. Loving the dragonflies is a morning thing. And relaxing in the tv room is a morning thing. Ciao for now my friends...

AUNTIE'S SWIM AFTERNOON PART TWO

Image
The lazy mornings continue with some little surprises. Every one should always hope for little surprises. At least for good surprises though. We love the lazy mornings for sure. I went outside with Izzy to see that Auntie Gwen was already in the pool. Izzy was so happy she could not contain herself! Even though she spent most of the time swimming under the water. And then she remembered how Auntie held her at 9 weeks old and helped her learn to swim. She made Auntie hold her tight again nearly eight years later. And gave her lots of kisses too. It was a lovely pool day. And there were more and different butterflies on the bee  balm to keep us entertained. Izzy did not want the afternoon to end. Ciao for now my friends...
