FINDING JOY

Image
It is warm outside and the snow and ice is going away. Mum keeps chipping away at the ice  so that makes it go away faster. Dusty was glad for the snow after all the shows she was in. We tend to bide our time in this weather because we know it will lead us to Springtime. We look at the frozen pool and remember the days of heat and sun and joy. I suppose we will have to find the joy of each day closer to summer fun. As long as we have chewing bones... Ciao  for now my friends...

GOOD DAYS

Image
As a twelve year old lady, I am so grateful that I can still jump up onto the sofas. I don't mind sharing with my pups. And there are only a hand ful more days before the light starts to return in the mornings. These are the good days here and those to come. Especially since Dusty is now cleared to have puppies. I could be a great grandmama. The good days  come and go and we can wait for more for sure. I am sure there will be more ice and snow to come after the rain storms arrive. And I am sure there will be more chewing bone mornings as well. Ciao for now my friends...

THE WAIT AND SEE

Image
They say that the air will warm up and melt the snow and ice. But we have yet to see any of that! Mum says we should wait ad see. But I think it will take some time. Mum spent a lot of time scrping the snow and ice off the patio. But I guess you can't get it off the grass very easily. No matter, as long as it's gone in the Spring. Ciao for now my friends...

LET US NAP!

Image
When it's cold outside,we play inside. Mia loves to sleep by the fire and Dusty tries to get her to play. It doesn't often work like that. The rest of us just want to nap. Eventually, Dusty gets the message. Ciao for now my friends...

SETTLIING IN

Image
Dusty is home and settled right back into our pack. She loves running in the deep new snow after being on the road for so long. She is back to her goofy old self. I have not given back Dusty's spot on the sofa yet. But I don't think she minds... She has settled by the fire with her Mama Mia. Glad to be back home again. Ciao for now my friends...
