ICE TUNNELS

Image
Poor Dusty is wanting to play with any of us these days. She even tried to get the chickens to play with her outside but it was just too cold. All I want to do is nap wherever it is warm. Izzy is a good sport when t comes to her niece Dusty. She puts up with  a lot. And she does really want to go outside to play. But the rest of us know to ask for chewing bones. Even in the sun, it is very very cold. he snow has turned to ice tunnels. And we can only dream of warmer days. Ciao for now my friends...

WHY? OH WHY?

Image
When it's very cold outside we snuggle by te fire It is so cold outside that our feet hurt and Mum calls us back inside as soon as we do our business. But Mia especially asks Mum why it is so very cold for so very long. None of the snow is melting away. My old bones are tired of being cold. I'm not sure when, but I hope Spring will come soon. I don't ever remember it being so cold and snowy for so long. Why? seems to be a good word. Ciao for now my friends...

LAYZEES

Image
Mum calls us Lazees when we turn over on our backs. For us, it feels great to kick up our heels and roll on our backs. But we are upright in an instant if we think there are treats involved. I guess we are all considered lazees at one time or another. whetherr on our backs or on our fronts. Or even on our feet! Ciao for now my friends...

INSIDE CHEWING BONES

Image
Mum gave us chewing bones inside!!!! She said it was special because of all the snow outside. We were not sure how to go about chewing our bones inside. It was the first time ever. We were confused. Izzy even thought she could ask for one more inside chewing bone. We were very happy and a bit confused. Ciao for now my friends...

MOUNTAINS

Image
We waited patiently for the snows to stop. We waited for Mum to say we could go outside. We waited for Dad to clear the snow in the front and the back gardens. Then we went outside and had to make our own pathways. It was tough going. We had to push the snow down so we could walk and run and play. It was easier to walk where Dad first got rid of the snow, even though more snow fell again. I felt like a mountain climber. It was hard going at first. Mia would stand on top of a mountain of snow before it colapsed. It was quite a workout for all of us. I think there will be more snow on the way. Ciao for now my friends...

OH THE WEATHER OUTSIDE

Image
It started in the night. We heard the wind and the snow came down. But we were all snuggled by the fire. In the morning we watched as the snow fell to the ground. And we watched . And we watched. Then the winds picked up and the snow fell faster and danced in the wind. e begged to go outside and play even though the snow was nearly over our backs. Mum said we had rto wait until Dad finshed making pathways for us to go pee and poop Ciao for now my friends...
