Mornings With Moula

Mum said we would have a visitor  and since not many visitors come to see us any more, we anxiously waited and watched. Like a whole lot- by the door. Well, the Visitors where Auntie Julie and Margot and to our surprise, Margot stayed when Auntie went home! Margt was moreintersted in chatting with Carnaby then playing with us. And while Mum chopped ice outside, we had our chewing bones. Dusty was happy to be in her x pen. And Margot fell right in to our pack. Ciao for now my friends...  

We practice self care these days and always. Taking our time to enjoy the quiet. And sometimes we just have to open our mouths to sing. Whatever song we feel in our hearts. Some of us sing on the inside only. And sometime you need to step up and play. Find the things that bring you joy. And find a play to enjoy them. Ciao for now my friends...  

Even though each day gets a bit lighter now, We feel the slow down of the winter blues. Whar we want to do is sleep until spring arrives. Or n the very least, let us nap until the morning comes. We are good at that. Ciao for now my friends...  

In between lessons we help Mum chop the thick ice outside. Actually sometimes we just get in her way. The air and the sun mixes together to make puddles with the melting ce and snow. And Mia is sad that now the snow is soft again, it is disappearing right before her eyes. As the snow and ice melt, we know that mud season will arrive. It's a good thing Mum chopped some ice because now it is raining outside. We are wondering when we can go outside again.  Ciao for now my friends...

We are always asking for something. When we are inside, we gather by the kitchen door. And begin our quest to as k to be outside. Then when we all come back inside, we gather in front of Mum. And wait patiently. To ask for treats- until we want to go out again. It's a continuous cycle- I know. Ciao for now my friends...  

The snow has started to melt- No- really!  Slowly it melts and the snow is easy to run and play in again. But we are still in the winter days mode where we na all together. In whatever comfy place we could find. Mum says she has to get ready for Mud season. But that doesn't matter to us. Mia doesn't like when Mum talks about the melting snow. Mia likes to  swim in the snow! She worries there won't be enough to swim anymore. Dusty to is a little upset.         Ciao for now my friends...

They said that it is warmer outside yet the fire inside our house still burns all day. And we don't mnd taking advantage of that. Especially when we can nap in warmth and comfy chairs. With all the sunshine outside, we are hoping Spring will arrive soon.   It has been a terrible winter. But for now, we will nap, while the fire still burns. Ciao for now my friends...
