WHEN THE WORK IS DONE

Image
We often get to inspect the work that Mum and Dad do around The house. Mum especially cleans and sorts and gets rid of things we no longer use. Things are put away and given away and sold too. It is days like these that work comes first before play time. Or break time. And usually, our reward for being patient is time doing what we love. Oh- and we love to swim! Dusty told us all about how she had to dive into the pool from way up  high. Izzy nodded in agreement. But when the work is done, we play. Ciao for now my friends...

DUSTY'S DOCK DIVING DAY

It started off like any other morning of chewing bones and treats and hanging together. Izzy knew Mum and Dad were going to take Dusty to teach her how to dock dive. She implored Mum to take her too. Dusty told us how she had to jump off the ramp first. Then they went to the little dock. She wasn't so sure of that at first. But she got the courage to hop in. But then she realized it was just like our own pool and began to jump off the dock! She really liked it a lot! And was very tired on the way home. Ciao for now my friends...

I told Dusty she mustn't jump into the water like I tried to do. Dusty said at first she did not know what was happening but Uncle Bob was there and her great Aunt Souris used to always talk about her Uncle Bob and Aunt Denise so she calmed down immediately. She sat next to Mum on the boat and watched the water whiz by her. Tasting the wind with  her  tongue and ears. She asked so many questions to Auntie Denise and everyone on board. It was such a lovely day. She was a very good girl too when everyone was eating- Dusty did not make a peep and just watched and waited. And Dusty said Uncle Bob's beard smelled of wonderful treats. She was such a good puppy. Dusty found her very own look out! And settled in the back of the boat with Auntie. Auntie told her she was too yun...
