CRAZY WEATHER

Image
It's back to being cold again and there were ice pellets falling from the sky. But we get treats to make us feel better. this weather is very crazy. Raven doesn't like it one bit. Dusty is still recovering  from her trip. And today we did get to sit out in the sun in honour of what would be Souri's' 17th birthday. Boy do we all miss her so much. Even Dusty. She was just a baby when Souris left us all. Ciao for now my friends...

GOOFY AGAIN

Image
I think Dusty is getting back to her old self- goofy as it is. Auntie Izzy keeps her busy in between destroying toys. And she is happy to wait to greet Dad when he gets home. Everybody is a bit tired entertaining our sweet little Dusty. Except for Dusty. Ciao for now my friends...

ALMOST NORMAL

Image
Dusty is still settling into her old ways. But somethings she is still not comfortable doing. Like pooping and peeing outside an x pen. She is happy to have her chewing bones in her own back garden though.   We are all happy. And we are happy to have Dusty back in the crates with us when Mum has to teach in the other room. Of course I ge the big bed. And Dusty crashes quite often. And reminds us what it is to be a puppy still. We are almost normal again. Ciao for now my friends...

LOOK WHO'S HOME!

Image
;   Mia knew it was an exciting kind of day. Mum and Dad were getting things ready for Dusty's long awaited return. But it was a long wait and late into the night Mum and dad returned with Dusty. Raven was the first to greet her- not even a bark or growl and the two were off outside. Dusty had been traveling in RVs  nearly non stop for three days so she really needed to run and play in the now melting snow. Even though it was late at night, Mum wanted Dusty to play and relax. Mama Mia was the first to check out Dusty. Then Auntie Izzy and Auntie Raven joined in. Me, being the grand mama sat and watched all my children interact so sweetly. I think Dusty was grateful for her time away at the shows and will have stories to tell. And She is thankful to be home again.  Ciao for now my friends...

THE WAIT WAIT WAIT

Image
Dusty is on her way home now as we wait. She left Florida a couple days ago then slept in Georgia . Last night she slept in North Carolina and is now on the road back to us with Auntie Kathy and Auntie Terry. The best way to wait is to nap. Especially since she will have been in a crate for a few days and will need to run run run! We will need all our energy to keep up with young Dusty. But we will all be happy when our Stardust returns. Ciao for now my friends...

A BIT ON EDGE

Image
Ma asks Mum for updates on Dusty often now. She knows she is on her way home and she uses her kong to pretend she is not excited about her return. Every time we hear the door close we run to see if Dusty is there. Even ur naps are a bit on edge. Mum gave us the special chewing bones in the still very cold back garden to take our minds off of things. But we are still a bit anxious as we wait. And we will wait. Ciao for now my friends...
