Mia knew it was an exciting kind of day. Mum and Dad were getting things ready for Dusty's long awaited return. But it was a long wait and late into the night Mum and dad returned with Dusty. Raven was the first to greet her- not even a bark or growl and the two were off outside. Dusty had been traveling in RVs  nearly non stop for three days so she really needed to run and play in the now melting snow.
Even though it was late at night, Mum wanted Dusty to play and relax.
Mama Mia was the first to check out Dusty.
Then Auntie Izzy and Auntie Raven joined in.
Me, being the grand mama sat and watched all my children interact so sweetly.
I think Dusty was grateful for her time away at the shows and will have stories to tell.
And She is thankful to be home again.

ROCKSTAR DUSTY'S TRIUMPHANT RETURN!

  It started a couple of weeks ago when Mum and Dad took Dusty to meet Auntie Nadine at a rest stop. Dusty never looked back and we all wished  her happiness. Her first show with Auntie was in Maryland- far away from us. She got a special ribbon like I did and Izzy and Raven too!  WE were all very happy about that! But on the second show that weekend- Dusty did better then any of us here! She won her class then won best girl! Then won best of Winners. THEN Won best of Breed! We were all over the moon happy for her!   Even her picture makes her look like a rock star! We were all so excited that we wanted to scream with joy! They all went in the RV again to Delaware for more shows and she won again! And again- Four points in total! MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it. Margot took one of her presents and ran all over the house. Mia inspected the toy after Auntie took the tags away, We all took part in the play. MAMA MIA'S PUPPIES POOL DAY REUNION

Dusty was a bit sad in the morning because Mum said  the puppies were coming and that most of us had to stay inside.  Izzy the swim instructor and super Aunt was allowed into the pool. Vikki and brother Cody were first to arrive with their families and then Lillibet came to join in the fun! Three of Mia's second litter all in one place! They did not miss a beat! Cody learned to swim here last year but he was hesitant with the new deck and steps. His Dad said that Cody did not like the water but he saw everyone else in the pool having fun! Everyone cheered when Cody got  up the courage to swim- then dive into the pool! His Daddy was there to help him navigate the steps but in no time he was a pro! Lillibet and Vikki cheered him on as well. Mum was so happy to have them back together. I think Lillibet was confused that she was back in her old pool.
