EARLY IN THE MORNING LIGHT



Mum gets up super early even before the light begins in the morning. She does all her work and the baby puppies and then sits down to breakfast when Dad gets up to take over the puppy duties.
Then, still early in the morning, Mum goes outside to water all the flowers ad vegetables before  the sun is even fully risen.
But that light makes everything even more alive.
We love thi time of day.
The muffins are growing right before our eyes!
They are so entertaining to watch.
Dusty is really becoming a great Mama.
And the rest of us love that fact that Mum can brush us a couple of times a day to combat all our fur flying all over
And Mum has started their training already.

THE UNEXPECTED

Most days and nights you can pretty much know what to expect. Especially around dinner times and snuggle times and morning chews. But when it comes to puppies, they dictate your every moment. And Dusty's muffins were no different  We all knew it was nearly time for the muffins to appear but we were not expecting it so soon. Dusty took it in stride, she was calm and collected- much more than Mum and Dad although they knew exactly what they were doing and how to do it.  It was expected of them, until it was not. And off to the doctor's they went. We had chewing bones while we waited for news. It turned out that Dusty needed a bit of help- like I needed. Everyone was so helpful with the little puppies! There are five boys and four girls. Three yellows and six black and we are so excited that they are finally here! Dusty seems to be taking it all in slowly.  Let the adventures begin. SAD SAD DAY

No matter how much Izzy begged, Mum and Dad went ahead and closed our pool. It was a sad morning thinking we would have one last swim. It was hot and sunny and still the flowers bloomed. And we played  chase with each other. Izzy was sure we could go into the pool. But when we were told to go inside and come outside again, the pool was covered for the long winter's nap. Izzy was so distraught. Ciao for now my friends....

RING RING RING!

All is calm, all is quiet until the Ring bell goes off! It used to be the door bell but now we ignore that sound from the television but when the Ring goes off! we are right there to see who is at the door! And  because not many people  come to visit anymore, We know they are packages for us! Mia always asks Mum if  There were any new kongs in the boxes... Or chewing bones perhaps? Raven likes to snuggle Mum by the fire to wait for the next Ring! Izzy just waits by her side. Ciao for now my friends...
