SUNSHINE AND SHOWERS

We will take the sunshine between the rainstorms any day. Even when it should be a lot warmer.


And we gladly take our chewing things otside in the sunshine with glee.
Dusty likes to go beside the house and chew. I think she is trying to find a spot to nest like I once did.
Or she seeks the cool shade by the front fence.
Izzy keeps looking for the pool to be open.

 But we are very thankful to be together.

SAD SAD DAY

No matter how much Izzy begged, Mum and Dad went ahead and closed our pool. It was a sad morning thinking we would have one last swim. It was hot and sunny and still the flowers bloomed. And we played  chase with each other. Izzy was sure we could go into the pool. But when we were told to go inside and come outside again, the pool was covered for the long winter's nap. RING RING RING!

All is calm, all is quiet until the Ring bell goes off! It used to be the door bell but now we ignore that sound from the television but when the Ring goes off! we are right there to see who is at the door! And  because not many people  come to visit anymore, We know they are packages for us! Mia always asks Mum if  There were any new kongs in the boxes... Or chewing bones perhaps? Raven likes to snuggle Mum by the fire to wait for the next Ring! Izzy just waits by her side. Ciao for now my friends...

NOTHING TO SEE

It seems like all the squirrels have left our garden now. It's really quite sad. Not even the ones that dig for acorns in our front garden! I suppose I am not as quick as I used to be so maybe the squirrels went somewhere more fun.  These are the things I think about each day. I think Dusty has something else on her mind. Anyway- we will have to find some one else to keep us entertained outside. Or just settle for our lovely chickens maybe. Ciao for now my friends...
