THE FIRST OF THE LASTS

All the muffins were together one last time. They played with mother Dusty.

And Mum and Dad get everything ready for the muffins to go on to their new lives.

The muffins had one last wagon ride together.

And they all wanted to be picked up and fussed.

Dusty demanded to go into their pen and none of them tried to nurse.

Dusty played with her muffins for a very long time.

I think she knew they were ready to get on with their lives...

And in the morning they had  one last meal together.

And one last play all together.

Then Mum took Brandi- who is now known as Murphy, and he had his first bath in the kitchen sink.

He got his new collar andwaited.

I remember this family. Mia's brother went with them when he was my puppy  and Mum said my brther Bodhi is with them too. What a family! <3

Mum was teary eyed like when every puppy goes away from us but so many families are now our families too.

Mum took Apple into the sink for her bath. I think Apple knew what would happen.

She donned her new collar and now she is known as Lexi.

She fell asleep on Mum- she loves Mum so much. Lucky for her she won't be far away and can come and see us often.

Her new Mum and Dad were so happy that she is now part of their family too.

To make us feel better, Mum and Dad took us into the pool.

None of us were sad after an afternoon in the pool.
