AN ADVENTURE FOR SOME

Image
It was early in the morning when Mother, Father , Ari and Vikki set off in the car to the dog show. Vikki, being six months and on day was the littlest one in her ring.  She was pretty good for being such a small puppy and got a ribbon.   Ari went into the ring and everyone cheered. Because after all, she is ten years old. She had to go back into the ring again and she loved it! It was a very nice morning. Auntie Lois came to make sure I went out and did my business. I know Mother and Father worry  about me because my legs do not work so well. Izzy was in charge of Vikki and Lilibet when everybody was home again. Izzy  is very patient with the Littles. All in all it was a very nice day. Tomorrow will be even better I hope. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

UNCLE BOB! UNCLE BOB! UNCLE BOB!!!!

Image
It was a day lie any other these days, my legs move slow and the sun shines bright and the air is clear and life goes on. I have taken to eating arund the chicken coop these days. And after dinner, I heard voices by the pool. I burst out of the kitchen door which opens easily these days. Low and behold, on of my favourite peoples was helping Father put the pool steps into the pool. I sat for a moment hoping he would see me and run to me but his hands were full. I felt like a puppy again I was so happy to see my Uncle Bob! Oh how I missed him so very much. Mother said I was literally running to him. He gave me lots of fusses  and promised to come back soon and my heart was bursting with joy. I was happy for the entire evening. It is funny how happiness takes away your pain and sadness.  May your days be filled with peace my friends...

SIX BIG MONTHS FOR THE LITTLES

Image
It is six months today that Vikki and Lilibet were born in our living room in a box with Mia and Auntie Mickie. Andthough we don't know if they will stay with us forever, we really have soft spots for both of them. Mother gave us chewing bones to have under the morning sun. We  love chewing bones. Mother took Lilibet and Vikki outside for training and playing. They rather chew on sticks- when there are no bones to chew. And Vikki's favourite game of fetch. Lilibet plays but only when the moment moves her. They love each other so much but love their time alone  too. I love these bright and sunny days and I am glad to share them with the Littles. May your days be filled with peace my friends...

THE SCHOOL BREAK

Image
This was Mother's last day of school until the Fall. The Littles did not know it yet but Mother will have a bit more time with us for all of the Summer! Before she left, Mother gave Ari and me  chewing bones. We adore the Whimzee chewing bones. They do not hurt my very old teeth. The cotton candy Irises are popping all over the place. Everything is blooming, singing their own songs. You can hear them sing each morning. I can chew and listen and breathe in the scent all at the same time. Vikki had her game of fetch before Mother left for school. And the rest of us had a great time outside together when Mother returned from school. I can see great days swimming in the pool and seeking shade when the sun gets too hot. But the best part is that Mother will be here for us even more. May  your days be filled with peace my friends...
