JUST ANOTHER SWIM DAY

Image
Little Blueberry frinds all sorts of places to nap when she gets tired. Some seem less comfortable than others. But when it's time to swim again, Blue is all in!   Dad finally got the floating deck into the pool and Blue knew exactly how to use it! When she did her laps around the pool Mum made her go into the dog float. She did not notice the rest of the gang ready to jump into the pool. It was a fine day for swimming. And everyone was good and tired after that! Ciao fro now my friends..

ALL ON A SUNNY MORNING

Image
Some mornings when both Mum and Dad are home and the sun is brilliant shining in the sky, we get to play. Pretty much Blueberry gets to play every morning but that's because she is just a baby.    Whereas I am the grand dame of the house and I get to nap or play whenever I want too. It's a tough life being the oldest and the youngest. But we all have been there. Dusty keeps tabs on Blueberry when she is in the big girl pen. Dusty still likes to go into that pen. And Blueberry tries to get everyone to play with her. And she is ever on the watch for her lovely little girl. Ciao for now my friends...

THE QUIET TIMES

Image
We are in the quiet time of summer. The days are still long but the house is quiet. Even with Blueberry added to the mix the house is very quiet. Blue loves to sit on Dad's lap on the big sofa and Mama Dusty loves to let her cuddle. Or Chat about the day. Or maybe chew her ear- literally. We chwerish these quiet times. Ciao for now my friends...

THE FIRST SWIMS

Image
After the morning breakfast ritual and some quality time inside and outside, Mum and Dad got the big pool ready for little Blueberry. She watched from Dusty's old pen on the patio. henDad brought her up the steps in his arms. And Mum taught her to get her sea legs. After a few laps around the pool Blueberry needed a rest. And there she waited for the rest of her family.     She watched her great Auntie Izzy swim under water and watched her great Auntie Raven dive in time and time again. Her Mama Dusty jumped in and got the orange squirrels. And Grandmama Mia  called to her from the dock- always worried about her swimming puppies. Dad carried Blueberry down the steps and washed her off and let her dry and watch everybody from a far- not  bad for ten weeks old- just like me. It was a lovely day. Ciao fro now my friends...   \
