AND NOW WE ARE TEN






I was so happy last night that I decided to sleep on the sofa! my most favourite  place to sleep next to Mummy and Daddy's bed. I can't get up there any more.

Souris was very happy too today. Now she is ten years old! She can still run and play and jump up on the bed- what more can you ask for?



Mummy took me for a walk in the morning sun. I love the morning sun.

Then I saw the most beautiful cat I have ever seen! It was scared of me but I just wanted to  sniff.....


Mummy did poop patrol before she went to school and said that the ladies (chickens ) were very happy.....


When Mummy came home I was sleeping. Mummy laughed and said I looked very funny and very cute....hmmmmm.
I got up and went outside.
When I came back in- the sun was just right so I took a nap.


Mummy took me for another walk after lunch- I ate a big chunk of cheese and two whole hot dogs!

When Daddy got home we all went for a car ride to one of the stores I REALLY REALLY like!
The nice girl who gave me all those treats was there AND SHE REMEMBERED ME!







There was a nice little boy puppy there. I liked him a lot!


Daddy made me go on the scale I gained almost three pounds! Mummy was very happy about that.



I walked a lot in that store.
I liked the smells of all the different foods.







When we were ready to go;  the nice girl gave me more treats.

I didn't want to leave but we had to.....we met some nice ladies outside- they gave me fusses.


Mummy made chuck in a pan for me when we got home. I ate so much!  I am happy.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. Dusty keeps asking Mother when the skies will stop crying. But I don't think  it will stop any time soon.   May your days be filled with peace my friends...

THE BEANS FIRST VET VISIT

It was early in the morning when Mother and Father loaded the Beans into the crates in the car and headed to the Doctor's place. They were put into a big tub and waited for the Doctor to come into the room. They were very good except for pooping in the tub. First up was Hope. She checked out  and got her microchip and her first shot. Oh and they each got some stinky cheese from a can. Dusty was up next. Onyx was next- she did not mind getting her eyes and ears checked out. Sunnie was next- she really liked the vet tech who was very gentle with all the puppies. Ali was next- none of the puppies cried when they were jabbed. Prince was an absolute sweetheart. Midnight loved the stinky cheese the most. The puppies went right outside in the warm sunshine. Mia was so glad her puppies were home I am secretly glad they are back too. The beans napped for a few hours Everyone kept watch over them. Until it was lunchtime and they ate nearly everything. THE DAY OF DEAFENING QUIET

It all happened so fast. We did not know, I did not know. No one really knew but Souris knew. She knew it was her time to run free and find her Moula.                                                       My name is Arabella Castellabate . I am Souris sister by association. I am named after my Mum's grandfather's town in Italy. I am Mother to eleven puppies including Izzy, Mia and Raven. Mia is actually related to Souris. It is with a broken heart that I take the reins of the blog from Souris. I hope I can honour her with my writing. It was just like any other morning though it was raining still. Mother gave us chewing bones before she went to school. Souris wrote her blog and slept on all the rugs that Mum and Dad put on the floors to help Souris not slip.
