SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY

Sunday mornings are usually very joyous  mornings. Mother and Father usually stay in bed a little longer and Moula would try to keep us all  quiet while they slept.
The only thing I could ever think of was "It's time to eat!!!!!" But this morning I stepped up. I kept everyone quiet while they slept.

The rains came down. A lot of rain came all day.

Mother and Father packed some snacks and left us alone. They went somewhere with Auntie Gwen where they had plants. Mother came home with another Lemon tree.

Uncle Bill came to play with us and Izzy was confused that Mother and Father were not home all day and she ate my favourite mouse to bits! He was all over the bedroom . Bits of him were everywhere.

But I understood why she did it. Sometimes you just can't contain your fear or anger or frustration and you have to take it out. The best thing to do is comfort her and that's exactly what I did.

Moula told me that when she was young and Mother and Father left her- she would grab a piece of paper out of the rubbish and bring it on the bed and rip it up so that Mother and Father could see how she felt. They would never ignore her or scold her. They would comfort her and apologize that they had left her alone.

Father brought in the post from yesterday and there were three envelopes addressed to Moula. People are sending cards saying how sad they  are that Moula had to leave. One had two pictures of Moula.

It made me sad to see her picture but it made me feel loved that she was a part of almost all my life.

Mother said she would hang the pictures up so that Moula could watch over us and we would never have to forget .

Izzy was so happy that Mother and Father were back that she  grabbed her very first toy and kept bringing it to Mother.

Arabella just stares at Mother. She does not say much to any of us these days but is very happy when people come to visit.

Ari takes care of Izzy . She comforts her and calms her down.

Izzy is almost as big as Ari now but still has so much to learn from all of us. She asks me every morning if Moula will come back today.

We usually  snuggle on a Sunday evening . This is the First Sunday that  Moula is not here to snuggle by the TV. We all feel it.....I am trying to distract  Izzy and to be strong for everyone else.

May your days be filled with peace my friends.
