COOL CHILLINGS







It was pretty hot- pretty early in the morning. We were all quiet and resting while Mother watered the gardens and hoovered the hair off the floors.


We like to wait for Mother while she is in her bathroom too. Izzy likes to wait IN her bathroom.

We all spent the rest of the day in the pool because it was so very hot outside.
Brownie came over to stay with us but his Mother did not want him in the pool.













The water felt so good- no one wanted to get out- especially Izzy. Mother had to carry her out of the pool. She likesto dunk her whole head into the water.

Mother gave us chewing bones so that we could dry off in the heat of the day.






Auntie Donna came to bring Brownie back home. Arabella   kept  hugging and kissing her and would not let her leave.







 I suppose we are very lucky to have a pool to cool off on a hot day. Even if Father has to clean out all our hair each time we go for a swim.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. THE BEANS FIRST VET VISIT

It was early in the morning when Mother and Father loaded the Beans into the crates in the car and headed to the Doctor's place. They were put into a big tub and waited for the Doctor to come into the room. They were very good except for pooping in the tub. First up was Hope. She checked out  and got her microchip and her first shot. Oh and they each got some stinky cheese from a can. Dusty was up next. Onyx was next- she did not mind getting her eyes and ears checked out. Sunnie was next- she really liked the vet tech who was very gentle with all the puppies. Ali was next- none of the puppies cried when they were jabbed. Prince was an absolute sweetheart. Midnight loved the stinky cheese the most. The puppies went right outside in the warm sunshine. Mia was so glad her puppies were home I am secretly glad they are back too. The beans napped for a few hours Everyone kept watch over them. Until it was lunchtime and they ate nearly everything. THE DAY OF DEAFENING QUIET

It all happened so fast. We did not know, I did not know. No one really knew but Souris knew. She knew it was her time to run free and find her Moula.                                                       My name is Arabella Castellabate . I am Souris sister by association. I am named after my Mum's grandfather's town in Italy. I am Mother to eleven puppies including Izzy, Mia and Raven. Mia is actually related to Souris. It is with a broken heart that I take the reins of the blog from Souris. I hope I can honour her with my writing. It was just like any other morning though it was raining still.
