SUMMERTIME SOUP







Moula used to call it "the summertime soup" The  days of hot humid yucky weather has come.
The storms were horrible last night. Mother says some puppies are afraid of the storms and the loud thunder. We know we are safe here with each other Nothing can frighten us when we are  together.





Mother and Izzy did not go to training this morning. Instead we all went to the pool. Izz and Ar jumped right in. I took my time getting into the pool.







I suppose the soup is a good thing if you like to cool off in the pool. I think it makes you slow down a little bit and enjoy just hanging out together or listening to the storms  that come with the summertime soup.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it. Margot took one of her presents and ran all over the house. Mia inspected the toy after Auntie took the tags away, We all took part in the play.
