Funny thing about the summer days. It can start out very warm and very sunny and Just like that! The thunder clouds come by and drop lots of rain on all of us.
Mother and Father took us into the pool for the first time in many days. Oh I know Izzy went in by herself yesterday but the sun was shining today and the hummingbirds were playing in the tall red flowers that Moula used to call "Bee Balm"
Izzy jumped in straightaway and I followed on the steps. but Nera was a little scared. She wanted to jump in but she was scared. Mother took her in gently and she swam around and around then jumed into Mother's arms. I think it will take her some time to not be afraid of swimming.
The Thunder clouds burst open just as we were getting out of the pool. Mother said we could go swimming tomorrow when the thunder clouds are gone.
I suppose we all get a little scared when we try new things- especially when we see other people enjoying it. The thing to do is to keep at it .
Nera is very tired now- we are all ready for our snuggles....
