TOYS TOYS TOYS!


With Nera in the house-the floors are covered  with all the toys from the big white basket in the bedroom. Mother puts them away every night and Nera takes them out. All of them.
I  must  admit- I take the toys out too.

Izzy just likes to take what ever toy Ari or Nera or I have at any given moment.



Sometimes I just like to sit back and watch them play and steal each  other's   toys.



I suppose it's better to be happy with toys  all over the floor and playing- then to be tidy and clean and sad because you are afraid to leave a mess.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it.
