THREE'S THE CHARM


Arabella was ready to go this morning. She stood looking out the door into the sunshine. Today was her puppy day.
Mother said there would not be as many puppies as last time but I don't care- I love puppies!

With Moula not here - it is my turn to worry about them. I was Happy when Mother told me where they were going but Izzy did not seem to care.



Ari did not complain one bit when she had to get in her crate.

Mother and Father came back without Ari and they tried to make us happy. Mother asked Izzy if she wanted to go in the pool- OF COURSE she perked up and ran to get her towel!

I am thinking it may be the last pool day for Izzy this year.....

I think Izzy knew this because she swam for a long time.





Mother and Father came home with a box full of puppies. All three of them are black and only one of them is a girl. The little girl has a white spot on her tummy.

They are really noisy and really hungry!







They are also good sleepers- they like to sleep on each other!




I suppose there is nothing like new puppy smells in the house..... I can't wait to play with them all!

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. Dusty keeps asking Mother when the skies will stop crying. But I don't think  it will stop any time soon.   May your days be filled with peace my friends...

THE BEANS FIRST VET VISIT

It was early in the morning when Mother and Father loaded the Beans into the crates in the car and headed to the Doctor's place. They were put into a big tub and waited for the Doctor to come into the room. They were very good except for pooping in the tub. First up was Hope. She checked out  and got her microchip and her first shot. Oh and they each got some stinky cheese from a can. Dusty was up next. Onyx was next- she did not mind getting her eyes and ears checked out. Sunnie was next- she really liked the vet tech who was very gentle with all the puppies. Ali was next- none of the puppies cried when they were jabbed. Prince was an absolute sweetheart. Midnight loved the stinky cheese the most. The puppies went right outside in the warm sunshine. Mia was so glad her puppies were home I am secretly glad they are back too. The beans napped for a few hours Everyone kept watch over them. Until it was lunchtime and they ate nearly everything. THE DAY OF DEAFENING QUIET

It all happened so fast. We did not know, I did not know. No one really knew but Souris knew. She knew it was her time to run free and find her Moula.                                                       My name is Arabella Castellabate . I am Souris sister by association. I am named after my Mum's grandfather's town in Italy. I am Mother to eleven puppies including Izzy, Mia and Raven. Mia is actually related to Souris. It is with a broken heart that I take the reins of the blog from Souris. I hope I can honour her with my writing. It was just like any other morning though it was raining still. Mother gave us chewing bones before she went to school. Souris wrote her blog and slept on all the rugs that Mum and Dad put on the floors to help Souris not slip.
