The towels are still on the floor today and the rains and wind whip all around our ears.
The leaves are continuing to dance in the rainy winds.
Mother said we would not put on our costumes today- Arabella's belly is too big for her costume ans Mia does not have a costume. But we are also too wet to wear our costumes.
The leaves make pretty pictures on the ground.
We spent a lot of time waiting for the doorbell to ring so we could see all the children in their wet costumes. They would yell " Trick or treat!" and Mother would give them treats. Mother gave us treats too- No tricks- just treats.
I suppose there will be other days for tricks and treats when the rains and winds are not so bad.
We went outside in between the raindrops listening to the wind.
