A DANCE WITH THE WIND

Mother had  to go back to school this morning  so we kept watch outside. The winds were whipping all around and then the rain turned to snowflakes and danced about in the wind.

By the time Mother was back here the sun was out and dancing with the wind.


We all had a good romp in the wind and loved that we could be outside all together!

It was nice to just hang out. Mia and Lincoln continued their love affair.


It is a very sweet friendship since Lincoln err uhm...... can't be a father.

The puppies had a great romp in the garden too.

The rains are unending these days and the towels on the floor catching leaks from the skylights and catching muddy wet puppy paws are unending too. Father gives us treats and dries us off but there is not much else to do in these dreary days. I try to keep Dusty calm and happy but we are all wet and sad for the weather. MARGOT'S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

It seemed like any other chilly morning with the sun shining bright but then in came little Margot and her mother -Auntie Julie. It was Margot's first birthday and she wanted to spend it with us. But first she had to run all around the back garden to explore because it was quite some time since her last visit. She had her birthday bandana around her neck and a smile from ear to ear as she greeted each one of us. We  chatted with Auntie too. Inside, in the warmth of the kitchen, we gathered around to see Margot get her gift. We all wanted to see the card as well because it was Mum who wrote in it. Margot took one of her presents and ran all over the house. Mia inspected the toy after Auntie took the tags away, We all took part in the play.
